Jordan has built a legacy and would not like his name to be associated with any controversy.

The former basketball player made it clear recently when he responded to news that his name had come up at Diddy’s trial.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, an insider revealed, “Michael was made aware of what Diddy may or may have not got himself into with role-playing as Michael himself. Michael is not going to play with any of that, he is steering clear because he thinks it is weird.”

The source also noted that Jordan was enjoying a good time with his family in Italy and didn’t want anything to interrupt it.

Diddy’s ongoing case isn’t the first time in recent months that Jordan’s name has surfaced for the wrong reasons.

In February, the star landed in the news after his son Marcus was arrested in Florida. At the time, Marcus was charged with DUI, resisting arrest, and cocaine possession after police found his Lamborghini stuck on railroad tracks.

However, the cocaine charge was later removed after the Florida Department of Law Enforcement confirmed the substance was actually ketamine, prompting prosecutors to amend the charge to ketamine possession, a less severe third-degree felony.

The change meant that Marcus could receive lighter penalties despite still facing DUI and resisting arrest counts.
