2026 Hyundai Palisade price and specs

The Hyundai Palisade lineup is doubling in size this month.

Mind you, that means the one-member large SUV range has grown to two members with the introduction of a more affordable Elite.

However, Hyundai has confirmed it will expand further with a more rugged XRT Pro variant, while it has also received government approval to offer a wider range of variants including a front-wheel drive hybrid and both front- and all-wheel drive grades with a non-hybrid turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine.

The latest Palisade was launched here late in 2025 in a single trim level, Calligraphy, with a single powertrain, a 2.5-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder hybrid. That’s despite its predecessor being offered with two powertrains and, at the end of its run, two trim levels.

Among Hyundai’s SUVs in Australia, only the similarly sized – but electric – Ioniq 9 is more expensive. Buyers after a three-row SUV more affordable than the Palisade or Ioniq 9 can look to the boxy Santa Fe, which offers a choice of petrol or hybrid power.

2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy AWD (7-seat) $90,900

Drivetrains and Efficiency

For now, there’s just one powertrain available in the Australian-market Palisade, though a non-hybrid turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine is around the corner.
