1. How can I change the header image?

Instructions to change header image in Word 2008

  1. Click on View >> Header and Footer
  2. Click on the blue image and you should see a box around it. Hit Delete and the blue image will disappear. (and it looks like all your text disappears too - this is okay)
  3. Click on Insert >> Picture >> From File - and navigate to your chosen image. Select your image and click on Insert.
  4. Resize your image to fit the available space by clicking in the corner dots and dragging.
  5. Click on View >> Formatting Pallette and the formatting window will open.
  6. Click the dropdown arrow next to Arrange and choose Behind Text.  That should send your image to the back and you should be able to see the header text again.

  5. Double Click on you image and the Format Picture window will appear .
  6. Click on Layout and choose Behind Text.  That should send your image to the back and you should be able to see the header text again.
